We collect information you provide when registering for CareBeaconOS, including your name, email address, organisation details, ABN, and NDIS registration information. We also collect usage data, device information, and log data to operate and improve the platform. For NDIS providers, we may collect participant information, shift records, and care documentation that you input into the platform.

How We Use Information

We use your information to provide and operate the CareBeaconOS platform, process invoices and payroll, facilitate directory listings and referrals, send service notifications and compliance reminders, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with integration partners (such as Xero) where you have explicitly authorised this connection.

Data Storage & Australian Servers

All data collected by CareBeaconOS is stored on servers located in Australia. We use Supabase (hosted on AWS ap-southeast-2, Sydney) for database storage. We do not transfer personal data outside Australia except where required to provide specific features you have enabled (e.g., Xero cloud accounting integration). Where cross-border transfers occur, we ensure equivalent privacy protections apply.

NDIS and Healthcare Compliance

CareBeaconOS is designed for use by NDIS providers and allied health professionals. We understand our platform handles sensitive disability-related and health information. We comply with the NDIS Practice Standards and Commission requirements regarding information management. Participant data is stored with strict access controls and is only accessible to your authorised organisation staff. We support your obligations under the NDIS Act 2013 and Disability Discrimination Act 1992.

Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate information, request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations), and opt out of marketing communications. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to operate the platform (authentication sessions, user preferences). We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We use analytics tools to understand how the platform is used in aggregate — this data is not personally identifiable.
